Have an over-flowing ideas bank!

This course is packed full of ideas to make well-being tangible, practical and accessible for children. Each idea is simple, impactful and tried-and-tested so we know they work. Through having the opportunity to interact with Becky Carlzon and other course members, you can ask questions and troubleshoot as you go.

Science-based evidence to back up your practise

As well as the “what” and “how” of prioritising well-being, this course provides science behind putting well-being first. So, if your colleagues, parents or leadership team aren’t convinced about the positive changes you are making, you will have science to back you up.

“The fact that we know children’s well-being can help them learn better and it is the strongest predictor to them growing up to be happy adults and the fact that schools and teachers have a major impact on children’s well-being makes it a no brainer that we should be investing more time, effort and resources to develop our children’s capacity to lead happy, stable lives.”

“Having hit rock bottom in my own well-being through the pressures of teaching many educators are all too familiar with, and not having the resources to hand to support myself, I personally realised how important learning the skills of self-care are to success in life. We can’t fulfil our dreams, goals and own happiness if we are on the floor, overwhelmed with no clear way out. Self-care tools are learned; and they are better learned before we need them rather than when we are too broken to apply them. This course offers the tools I would wish any young person to have in place to build resilience and self-belief when the going gets tough both now and in the future.”
