A practical, easy-to-follow course to enable you to embed well-being into your classroom and your own personal routine without creating extra work (it wouldn’t be a very good well-being course otherwise, would it?!)
This course gives you easy-to-follow practical ideas to develop positive well-being habits for you and your children. You won’t need to change around your timetable nor will you need to spend time preparing all the resources. We’ve done the hard work and thought for you. All you need to do is follow and action each course unit. By the end of the course, you will have well-being habits embedded into your own routine and in your classroom. Simple.
This course is packed full of ideas to make well-being tangible, practical and accessible for children. Each idea is simple, impactful and tried-and-tested so we know they work. Through having the opportunity to interact with Becky Carlzon and other course members, you can ask questions and troubleshoot as you go.
As well as the “what” and “how” of prioritising well-being, this course provides science behind putting well-being first. So, if your colleagues, parents or leadership team aren’t convinced about the positive changes you are making, you will have science to back you up.

Provide your children with the tools to give them the best chances to manage their own well-being and self regulation.
Happier learners engage more readily with learning. This means less classroom disruptions and a more focused, connected class.
Parents often comment on how children use well-being techniques at home, impacting positively on family life.
Each unit introduces a new, simple idea to embed well-being into your classroom. Short video provocations from Adrian give clear explanations of these ideas. You can return to these videos as many times as you need to consolidate these ideas and practises.
Purposefully designed tracking tools enable you to keep track of your journey, target next steps and reflect on progress. As you progress through this course, you will notice quick gains and impact which will encourage you to keep going.
Each course has a comments section where you can share your progress, ask questions and read other members’ progress. Becky Carlzon will always be on hand to give feedback, offer suggestions and connect you with other members. You will never feel alone, members are generous and always ready to support you on your journey.
“The fact that we know children’s well-being can help them learn better and it is the strongest predictor to them growing up to be happy adults and the fact that schools and teachers have a major impact on children’s well-being makes it a no brainer that we should be investing more time, effort and resources to develop our children’s capacity to lead happy, stable lives.”
“Having hit rock bottom in my own well-being through the pressures of teaching many educators are all too familiar with, and not having the resources to hand to support myself, I personally realised how important learning the skills of self-care are to success in life. We can’t fulfil our dreams, goals and own happiness if we are on the floor, overwhelmed with no clear way out. Self-care tools are learned; and they are better learned before we need them rather than when we are too broken to apply them. This course offers the tools I would wish any young person to have in place to build resilience and self-belief when the going gets tough both now and in the future.”
